The Oasis Center’s Counseling Program provides a safe, confidential and worry-free environment that meets women where they are in life. Guided by our strengths-based philosophy, counselors work with women to set their own goals and support progress toward a self-determined definition of success. Counseling is offered on a sliding-fee scale, regardless of insurance status. 

The Oasis Center respects and admires single moms and recognizes the challenges that come with being one. Our Single Mothers Support Groups provides a safe and casual environment to share and learn from mothers in similar circumstances. With the guidance of a licensed counselor, the women talk through difficult times or situations, and share joyful experiences. The Oasis Center provides a way for women to connect with other women who understand, and to provide information and access to community resources.

Ordinary women have played an extradionary role in the history of our country and community. At the Oasis Center, we honor incredible acts of courage and determination by local women and girls. The Trailblazer Project celebrates the contributions of local sheroes who have shattered glass ceilings and broken through barriers. The diverse group of Trailblazers have made a positive impact on our community and continue to pave the way for other women and girls to follow.

Oasis is committed to engaging in community-wide initiatives and providing input on public policy that will improve the lives of women and girls in our community. We are proud to serve as the agency staffing the Tallahassee/Leon County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, thanks to our partnership with the City of Tallahassee and Leon County.
