Your Community Center
Bringing women and girls together to dream, achieve, and thriveOur facility is available for club meetings, group work, small groups and even parties! We are located near downtown and have a beautiful home on Call Street with rooms for use. Booking our space is usually free with a donation made to Oasis.
Women and Girls Lending Library
We are working to build our community’s largest collection of women’s stories in one place. The Oasis Library is free and open to the public. This year, we are updating and building our new collection, which will include: women’s biographies, and autobiographies, local women authors’ books of various genres, and children’s books featuring strong female characters both fiction and nonfiction. You can help expand our collection by donating books in any of the categories listed above.
Free Little Libraries
Do you have books you want to share or do your kids need their next reading adventure? We have two Free Little Libraries outside in front of the center. Stop by to take a book and leave a book to support literacy and build community. Drop by anytime to see what’s available.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Resource
Our Girls Can Do Anything! campers have built a brand new Neighbors Helping Neighbors resource box as their service project during Girls Can Build Anything! week at camp. The resource box is located in front of the Center with supplies like food, water, feminine hygiene products and more. Take what you need, leave what you can. We are all in this community together!
